Which RAM to buy for iMac 21'5 (mid 2011) Kingston, Corsair, Crucial or OWC?

Hi guys,

I want to buy an additional 4GB RAM to have an 8GB in total. Which memory brand do you recommend to buy for an iMac 21'5 (mid 2011) ? Kingston, Corsair, Crucial or OWC?

There's no difference in performance between the major RAM suppliers. Just keep away from ultra cheap bargains found on sites such as ebay. These are usually "seconds" and questionable as far as quality and reliability is concerned.
 
I always buy from Crucial.

Always one of the cheaper ones, not necessarily the cheapest (but the difference is so small)

1. They have a selector by system which is guaranteed
2. Have always delivered super quickly
3. Been super reliable for me

I recently found out (after buying 16gb upgrade) that the 2011 imac can support 8GB ram in each slot (max of 32gb) and will support a ram speed of 1600mhz instead of the standard 1333mhz.
 
Have used OWC in 4 Macs they have great products and fair prices. Have used 2 of there ssd's all with no problems... There customer service is great should you ever need them. They have great how to vids as well. Just stay away from Boot Leg Ebay stuff even if it is name brand used just don't take the chance... Good Luck On your upgrade...:apple:

Where did you see that the iMac will run 1600Mhz RAM? Does it only support it...meaning it'll accept it but won't run it at 1600Mhz? If so, then it's pointless.
