Hey guys,
I purchased the latest 12inch a while ago, and down the road I know I want to get an extra battery, and maybe also a extra wall charger. My question is, once all the powerbooks are gone, will apple also stop selling its accessories such as the battery and wall charger? If so, I reckon I should atleast purchase the battery now, seeing as though I will definitely need that once my battery gets crumbled.

Thank You,
i4k20c.

my 12" is almost 2 years old
still on the 1st battery
works great
i do, however, have a 2nd wall charger

apple store might stop selling the batteries-
BUT- other 3rd party companies will still sell them
also they will sell 3rd party batteries...etc- they already do

just my 2 cents

They will probably keep selling them for a month or two, then let inventory dwindle. Also, the PB uses the same wall charger as the iBook. So it will be around for both of there lifes. Also, there are third party chargers that you can get. But i say get the battery now or soon. charger can wait if you want it to.

EDIT: gallagb, you must type slower.

They have to keep things around for at least 3 years after the accessory was last sold. If the thing happens to fall under applecare and it breaks, apple will have to have them in stock replace it. I wouldn't worry too much. Plus, there are plenty of 3rd party suppliers how many good batteries and chargers.
