Hi folks.

My 12v output on my motorbike will not charge my phone.

I am using the low profile Belkin USB charger, because the output hides in a glove box. I have an iphone4s when i try to charge the phone, a message pops up on screen every 2 secs or so saying "charging unsupported with this accessory"

Does anyone know of a solution?

ps the charger does work on my tomtom

what about the amperage ?

The solution is to buy a supported charger.

Yep.

I get this from time to time with some of my older (circa2007) iPod dock accessories when using them with my iPhone 4. I usually just remove my phone and then put it back in. It usually takes. Same with a USB jack I use for my car stereo. Sometimes it says its not compatible, so I simply unplug and replug. Fortunately, I usually only get the error when I first plug it in to something.
