Where ever my life takes me...

Merry Christmas!

I just installed my new WDC 1.0TB hdd; it's amazing!

However, I'm still experiencing some sluggish load times (I have 510GB of free space); should I look into investing into a memory upgrade (I'm currently using 2.0GB)?

Also, I have the June 2009 version (I bought it the day Apple released it); what is the maximum memory it can use?

I'm thinking of purchasing a new memory upgrade today!

Thanks,

It can take up to 8GB. I would get either 8GB or 1x4GB to make it 5GB and have one slot for future upgrades.

Thanks for the quick response; you answered my next question -- memory doesn't need to be matched pairs.

OWC has a 8.0GB upgrade for only $117. I'm sure I don't need more than 4.0GB, but upgrading to 8.0GB now ensures that I won't have to upgrade my memory anytime soon.

Thanks,
