With the new update out and everyone either excited or mostly disappointed, I'm a bit indecisive on which 13" MBP to get. It doesn't look like much of a speed difference which confuses me. 2.4 or 2.66, which one to get?

The 2.4 for sure, no way is the 2.66 worth the extra.

I'm getting the 2.4, saving US$ 300 for something else! :D If I would have the money I would jump to Arrandale instead.

There's no need for me to get an Arrandale since I have a Bloomfield laptop. I bought it as a desktop replacement but I now know I need a much better portable computer with a bit of punch.

as a relatively light user (word processing, surfing the net, some games like l4d2, cod4), would the difference between the 2.4ghz and 2.66ghz processor be noticeable at all?

Yeah I think I'm sold on the 2.4. Plus it's cheap to get it with a 500GB hdd, a mini dvi adapter, and an applecare warranty for $1446 with student discount.:D
