I'd LOVE a new Thunderbolt Display, but 1k is alot of cash. What would be a
2nd pick? I would say anything larger than 21", looks good on a desk with apple's aesthetic and works well.

Is a tv the answer? (could be hung onthe wall which would be nice)

Thoughts?

TVs aren't meant to be used as computer displays. They work fine for videos and other stuff but for other than that, you will want a real display. The reason is that TVs has low PPI, meaning that things will look blurry.

I ordered two Dell U2311Hs for my upcoming PC. Fairly cheap and still an IPS monitor. There is also a new model, U2312HM, with minor tweaks.
