My battery health has dripped from 96% in August 2025 to 88% in October off 161 charge cycles.
I had an issue recently which needed a Genius Bar visit to fix where the Mac wouldn't boot post MacOS update (Sequoia) and they opened it up and got it back up and running with no loss to data etc.
since then the battery appears to have dropped off a cliff in terms of health.
any ideas what it might be? I think I've done an SMC reset (if I did it right on a T2) but same issue remains. I'm not updating to MacOS 26.
