13 inch base model enough?

Well guys I just picked up the 13 Inch base model from my local apple store because I hate waiting for stuff when you order online a flaw of mine

Now I currently have the base i5 15 inch pro but don't use the power of it and think that it's too heavy for class... So I'm selling it to pay for the air. I must admit I'm crying about the backlight but I'll get over it.

So do you think. That the base 1.86ghz 2gb is enough? I have a i7 980x 12gb ram desktop

Wouldn't have hurt to have a read of the tens of other similar threads before opening yet another one.

You obviously have a desktop machine for any heavy lifting so the macbook air will be fine for portable duties.
