I actually would prefer the smaller one and the price is more comfortable to me, but Apple has got me confused with the newer, higher powered processors in the 15 inch. Is it going to make that much of a difference to me in terms of speed? Beyond all the typical stuff (Excel, websurfing, etc.) I probably will be running pro-tools on the computer and doing some not super intensive adobe illustrator type stuff. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!

Go with the 15. It has the newest technology in it. The 13" is outdated tech.

Personally, I far prefer the 13" model. But the 15" would be a bit faster now, as it basically emulates a quad core processor.(Hyper Threading)

But, if it's size, convenience and still, very fast speeds, I'd go 13".
