2-3 days as Best Buy is trying to sell the according to an article on CNet they are priced to high and are not selling well as could be if Apple lowered the price, one reason I got. a 2012 base 13" ssd upgrade is expensive and cheaper to get one for MBP 2.5" drive

The CNet "article" is by Brooke Crothers, who I've come to suspect no matter whether the tone of his articles is pro or anti-Apple. It isn't as if Apple dropped the cMBP, so the expensive prices of the rMBP in themselves don't explain the drop in total Mac sales.

That said, I do agree that the price of the rMBP is a bit high. Even $1799 for the 256GB 13" is pricey. I would not be surprised at all to see significant price drops with the refresh later this year. The 2012 rMBP in some respects was a proof of concept. Since Best Buy is an authorized Apple reseller, they need Apple's blessing to run these discounts. It seems to me that Apple is using this to try to find the right price point for the rMBP line.
