13 inch retina display vs 17 inch display (1920 by 1200)

If you had to work at one laptop, only based off the screen, which would be better?

17 inch display (1920 by 1200) early 2011 vs 13 inch retina display(2560-by-1600) early 2015

The 17" of course. Even a scaled 1680x1050 resolution on the 13" is already too small for my eyes, but maybe that's just me.

That said, I'd largely still stay away from the 2011 17" because of Radeongate (even though there's a free repair program for it) and also for the lack of USB 3.
