Ok I know this is no big deal but I had to laugh. I had not installed Mac Fans Control on my new 13" M1 MBP until this morning.

Once installed the control panel opened and it had a big fat zero in the middle of the fan speed range. Had me stumped for a minute, I could not figure out what was wrong.

Then I realized, WOW, the fans are just not running. Despite having been streaming video all morning, the temps were still way down in the mid-20s C. So for a laugh I turned the fans on full just to hear how they sounded. Might be the only time I hear them.

May you share here some pictures about 0 RPM fan, please?
What program did you use?
May you install TG Pro?

I love my MacBook Air because is fanless, but I'd like to buy a MacBook Pro M1 ONLY if I can get 0 RPM just for simple tasks like typing a lot, listening to music and having about 10 Safari windows open.
I really like the MBP M1 because of the Touch Bar.

Thanks

Here is a shot of my MacFanControl showing the current status of my 13" M1 MBP. As you can see, the fans are currently at 0 rpm. This is with the Auto setting as it installs. I don't know the program TG Pro but I think MFC is pretty well accepted as well. I have honestly never heard the fans come on doing basic browsing, email, word processing and those sort of tasks.

At this time I was watching Youtube in 1080p, and I had over 10 Safari tabs open, not separate windows.

I agree, I also like the Touch Bar that is one of the reasons I purchased the 13" to replace my 12.9" IPP.
