I'm trying I downloaded the
B03 update
But it says: "This computer does not need an update"
But bootcamp disagrees.

Anyone else have this problem, how was did you solve it?

TIA

What do you mean by 'bootcamp disagrees'? What messages are you getting specifically?

er sorry

I'm trying to install Boot Camp on my laptop
2gig RAM
120gigs hard disk space, 80% free
OSX 10.5.6

I launch boot camp assistant, this message comes up:

"Boot Camp Assistant cannot be used.

You must update your computer's boot ROM firmware before using this setup assistant."

I check my boot ROM code, it's
Boot ROM Version: MB11.0061.B02

I go to the apple site, download B03

But as I run the file, I get this message:

"Alert

This computer does not need this update."
