13" Macbook power brick making strange noises

When plugged into the wall socket and into my mac, the brick is making these squeeking/high frequency sounds that make it hard to focus. Has anyone experienced this before?

I bought the macbook new from Apple last year (feb 2012, with applecare till 2015), but i'm not sure if applecare covers the power adapter...

Guy at apple that sold me my MacBook Pro (mid 2012) told me apple care covered the power cord.

Yeah I got my cable replaced under Apple Care as well, it's one of the reasons I got it I tend to break these cheap Apple cables alot, they come disconnected from the brick and stuff. They replace it no problem.
