Hi Guys,

I recently sold my 16" MacBook Pro and ordered the 13" MBP 16GB/256GB model and will receive it in a couple of days. Anyway, the 16" was awesome that it could run 3 of my external monitors but has anyone made a similar transition and went to a 1 external monitor setup? Well its 2 if you count the 13" MBP's display.

My main monitor is a 34" LG Ultrawide so it wouldn't be too bad but I will miss the other 2 displays for my work flow.

I use my M1 MBP13 lid open with a 27" QHD display - but it fits my workflow just fine.

Personally, I wouldn't buy a computer that didn't fit my needs unless I had no other choice.

Is there a reason you didn't wait for the next round of Apple Silicon transitions when the higher-tier MBPs are expected later this year? I'd anticipate those may support more than a single external display.

I need a laptop and wanted to sell my 16" to get the most value out of it to get the M1. I have an Ultra Wide 34" and with my 13" MBP as dual screen works fine for me as well. I use spaces which helps tremendously. If I ever miss having 2-3 additional screens, I will just get a display link.
