On the (L). 13'' MacBook Pro M1 2020 (512gb-8gb ram-8/8core) (R). 15'' MacBook Pro Intel i7 2016 (2TB-16gb ram-I7 Skylake).
External Thunderbolt/USB in this Intel MacBook Pro outpaced the new M1 MacBook Pro in this test shown on Samsung T7 SSD external drive.
