I've had my Macbook Pro for about a year and 4 months now. Over the last couple of weeks when I have left it alone for any amount of time say about half an hour and I come back to it, it's lost connection to the internet - so it finds it again and everything is perfect. I just thought this was nothing, until over the last few days something else has happened...

...the Macbook Pro keeps randomly going to sleep but it's just a second or two. The screen goes black and I have to tap the keyboard or mouse to get it to work again. It happened three times whilst I was watching something on VLC player (could this be the cause?). When it loads it acts like it has just awoken from a sleep because I can hear the fans going before they then go quiet again...

I assumed losing connection was nothing, but is it connected to this new problem I am now having?

If there is anyone who can help me then I would be greatly appreciated - cheers!
