I'm running OSX 10.9.2 on both my 2009 27" iMac and my 2013 13" MacBook Pro Retina.
These are both shared computers with multiple accounts, basically account for parents as Admin, and account for each kid.
Background:
Upon sleep on the iMac, it will show a switch user option, and the kids can login themselves.
On the 13" MacBook Pro Retina it does not display "switch user" after sleep
Issue:
This causes my kids to do a forced shut-down, and whatever we have open gets into recover mode on the laptop
Help me!
I've looked at all the spots in system pref; User and Groups, Parental Controls, Security and Privacy, compared the iMac to the MacBook Pro Retina and can't find the box to check/uncheck to enable display of "switch user" after sleep on the wake up screen.
