Just got my 13" macbook pro. First apple laptop...I'm in love. BUT, I've been finding the trackpad button awkward to use. It seems harder to click near the top inch or so.

Has anyone else found this, or is it possibly a defect? I've enabled tap to click, which I prefer anyway. But don't want a defective track pad right off the bat.

Thanks.

The hinge of the MacBook Pro's trackpad is at the top, therefore clicking at the top portions can be difficult.

If you like using the physical click, use it like you use old trackpads. Use your finger to move the cursor and place your thumb at the bottom to click. The bottom 3mm will not detect your thumb and therefore you can just leave it there like with your old notebook.

Don't forget to enable 2-finger tapping for right-clicking :D
