About 2 weeks ago my MacBook randomly shut off. I disregarded it and rebooted. It now does it a lot more frequently. I just hear a sudden "click" and a small "beep" and boom; the computer is shut off right before my eyes. When rebooted it tends to shut off right at the gray apple logo screen.
I noticed that it does not do this when I have the power adapter plugged in. I doubt it's the battery since it's always charged. It also appears to only shut off if I'm dealing with media i.e. watching a movie, listening to music, streaming video online.
Also, I have never spilled anything on my MacBook.

I did some research and found that it might be the logic board, which I also found could be pricey to repair.
