So I bought a 13" Macbook(what was the $1299 model) a few days ago. I've heard from several people that if you bought a Macbook within a certain amoumt of days ago, you can return it to Apple in lieu of the new model, plus you get a $100 rebate. I heard this from reliable sources, but I just would like to confirm it before I walk into an Apple store looking like a fool if this isn't the case. So, can anyone confirm this? Thanks!

If you heard it from reliable sources, why isn't that confirmation enough for you?

You are looking for confirmation on a Forum where a 12 year old might answer you and say "yes" just for the hell of it?

I don't think any of us here know... you will have to ask the Apple Store

I work for Apple. Yes, if you bought it within the "Price Protection" period then you may return it. That is the beauty of Price Protection...

You should be able to return the notebook outright, take the refund and rebuy.
