I have had my 13" 1.86/4/128 MBA for about 2 months now. The battery info is as follows:

Charge Information:
Charge Remaining (mAh): 6488
Fully Charged: Yes
Charging: No
Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 6492
Health Information:
Cycle Count: 31
Condition: Normal
Battery Installed: Yes
Amperage (mA): 0
Voltage (mV): 8346

Though I don't remember what the full charge capacity was when the computer was new, I have a feeling that it has gone down a bit. Is this much degradation normal after 2 months of intense use?

Can you guys post your 'Full Charge Capacity' numbers here? What was it when it was new and what is it now?

My guess is that it's normal, given that system profiler tells you that it is normal condition. From those numbers, it looks like the design capacity was 6500mAh, so you're pretty close. If you download iStat pro, it will tell you what % your battery health is.

it's fine; no need to sweat it.
my 'full charge capacity' is 6241 after 135 charges and still is classed as 'normal' by System Profiler.
6500 or 6600 is new capacity from memory.
Apple warranty is your friend here anyways.

the 13 inch has a capacity of 6700mah.
i'm on about 70 cycles, and i've got 6300 remaining.
wouldn't worry about the battery to much, it sounds normal :)
try downloading coconut battery, its a useful app

what constitutes a "cycle". If I leave it plugged in all day at my desktop how does this diminish battery life compared to discharging/recharging?

Thanks
