In regards to battery life, the differences are negligible for everyday use.

Oh for sure, I'm just trying to get an idea of overall which that site gave me.

Some people buy a laptop and leave it plugged in all the time, where I like to take it with me from home to work or where ever I may end up.

The other consideration is that I do not buy a new computer every year, last one was 2008 and the screen stopped, but just the other day I started it up for pictures to post and try and get a couple of bucks for when the screen came on.

So now it has Mavericks on it 2.4 C2D 4 gig of ram , run's slow and the picture is not as sharp but the fact is it still run's .
