Hey guys,

I have an older 8-core Mac Pro that has a ton of HD space, and that I use for SOME gaming, but this MBA will be used for Diablo III and maybe a couple other newer games, and other than that very light-duty work, so the gaming performance is my only question/concern.

I'm trying to decide between the 128GB 13" MBA (i5), or the 256GB 13" with the i7 BTO upgrade. I'm looking at about a $400 difference, although I guess I gain a bigger HD as well (not a concern for me)

I do plan on keeping this thing for quite some time, but even long-term I'm wondering if for gaming (I won't be using Photoshop or anything) if the i7 would be a noticeable difference. It looks like Geekbench shows about an 11% increase in performance for the CPU's.

Thanks!!

Gaming is more GPU dependent. I don't think you'll see much of a noticeable difference in frame rates between the 2.
