I wanted to get the 256GB one the thing is even after the 125 college coupon and Cali sales tax it will be 1370 which is way too much for me to spend on a laptop..the college coupon expires on Sunday so if on Sunday they have a better sale than I will get it..just not sure what to do because if it wasn't for the college coupon obviously would wait til Black Friday to see what deals become available

Since Ive never purchased a mac before..usually for Black Friday do the prices of this year's macbook pro's go down in price?

I'll be honest, I don't picture this model going any cheaper
With Cali sales tax it just wasn't worth paying 1300 for a laptop..heck I wouldn't spend that much on a desktop..the newest college coupon doesn't include macs at all only surface pro's will see what happens on Black Friday if they were to drop the price 200 bucks would be worth it

I bought my New mid-2017 13" MB Pro w/TB 512GB for $1619 after discount. MSRP was $1999 for my config. It was on sale for -$200 off, which brought it down to the MSRP of a 256GB version. On top of that, if you are signed up for Best Buys reward program or student email list, they give you an extra 10% off coupon for your birthday month. So I used it when it was $200 off sale, and an extra 10% off. I also bought a special where the new Logitech MS Anywhere 2S (msrp $79.99) was 50% off with laptop purchase. In essence, I bought a new 13" MB Pro w/TB 512GB mid-2017 + Logitech MS Anywhere 2S mouse for $1619. No tax, in Oregon. Killer price.

Just know when to buy and hope there is a sale on something you buy and use the extra 10%off coupon. If I didn't get the sale price and 10%off coupon it would have cost me around $2246 after taxes. That's almost $700 in savings on a new model that was only 1-2 months old at the time I purchased it. Good Luck!!

How long were you a BB reward member? I got one for being a rewards member and for being on their student email list, however, thy are the same coupon so it only worked once, which I used for the double discount on my MB Pro.

I'm not sure but double check your email and or go to Best Buy customer service and see if they can offer it to you. Or talk to one of their online agents. That's probably the best way to go. Curious to hear what they offer you. Good Luck.

Ive been a best buy rewards member since 2006..never once did I get one of those birthday coupons unfortunately. I did talk to online chat they said that its a random thing, unfortunately for me random means never getting one LOL. I tried calling them once got the same response but will try again it would be nice to have one to use on a macbook
