Does anyone use the 85watt 15" MBP adapter on their 13" unit? I do not think it matters but wondering if the extra 25watts will hurt the battery on the 13" unit over time? anyone truly know?

I have an extra 85watt adapter I started using and then wondered if would hurt the MBP 13

From the CHARGING section of the following link:
Power adapters for Intel-based Apple portables are available in 45W, 60W, and 85W varieties. Although you should always use the proper wattage adapter for your Apple portable, you can use an adapter of a higher wattage without issue.

The link below should answer most, if not all, of your battery/charging questions. If you haven't already done so, I highly recommend you take the time to read it.

Yep read that before, just did not see the section about high watt adapters, but now I am good, so thanks

i plug my 13" into my old 17" 85w adapter every morning when i get to work, been doing it since the day bought my 2011 13", no issues.

You can use a higher wattage charger with no issues, but usually a lower wattage charger than what is specified won't work.
