13" MBP buying advice

I want to get a !3" MBP i5 w/ 256gb. Currently at $1499. Should I just buy it now or wait a couple of months to see if any upgrades or discounts are coming?
Don't expect any discounts, but upgrades would be welcome.

Same exact computer is $1269 on Apple's refurb website. Indiscernible from a brand new one. And it comes with a one-year Apple warranty.

Best buy is also offering $150 student discount coupons on new models of these so you can get a new one for almost refurb prices.

They just upgraded their lineup. Wont be any with maybe small tweaks to the nTB

the performance gap difference from a 7th to 8th gen processor is so huge that its not worth spending 1400-1500 on. My advice is save up for a few months till you can afford the base model 2018 13" which can actually be had for 1700 now with student discount from apple or for 1650 from Best Buy with a student coupon.
