13" MBP Hard freeze

Hello, I just had a hard freeze on my 13" MBP, i was just browsing Facebook and it just froze, i got the beachball, i could move the mouse but thats it. It sat there for about 5 or 6 minutes, and i just held down the power button and shut it off, I re-booted and its fine. Anyone else's ever done the same?
