13" MBP in Apple retail stores? When?

When will the new 13" MacBook Pro be in stock at Apple retail stores?

The reason I ask is because I am not interested in ordering online and waiting. I heard some Apple Stores did not have them in stock on Monday.

Rochester (Victor), NY does NOT have any of the new macs and no idea when they will get them.

I may try Buffalo...

Might be worth waiting about 10 days so the free iPod touch (college deal) has the new 3.0 o.s. versus paying $10 etc. But I can't wait!

I called all three retail stores in my area. One says that they might have them by tomorrow, the other two has no idea. Your best bet is to call in and check.

My store said that they were shipped yesterday (Monday). So I'd estimate like at the latest, Friday.

Your best bet is to wait and buy it retail and use education pricing (if you can) and get the back to school promo. That is the best deal in my opinion.

You get the same deal online. No difference. Except you can't get HDD upgrades in store.

Some people who ordered online will probably get their's before it arrives in many stores, but some people have reported a few stores already having them. I'd guess Wednesday for most, Friday at the latest.

Just talked to my 3 closest Apple Retailers.

One said not yet and they have no idea when.
Another said they're crossing their fingers since alot of their employees want to purchase one, he welcomed me to call back later on this evening or tomorrow.
And the last told me that they're "being released" tomorrow, and they hope to have them in by early next week.lol

I'll be calling the friendly one back around 730.
