Might be pulling the trigger next week and want either a messenger or a backpack to keep it in.

My needs are of the less is more end..

Small, just big enough to fit the mbp, I'd only need a couple of small pockets, maybe 1 for iPhone, couple pens etc.

I'd say 120 is my limit but for the right bag I'd go for it

I've just got my 13" MBP and I use the STM small alley bag and a diesel neosole case which tbh is almost a bit overkill on the protection front. The small alley is just perfect for my needs which sound similar to yours. I carry the MBP, charger and cables and a few documents. The bag has a slim profile and feels nice and light when carrying it with a decent padded strap on it. Also it doesn't look too obviously a "laptop" bag. The diesel neosole case is great too.
They're both from the Apple store... oh I think the case may only be available in the UK - sorry, but the STM bag is avaliable across the pond!
