13" MBP overheating

Hi all

Since installing the latest update for Snow Leopard my MBP has been overheating, always when there's nothing but Safari and Mac Messenger running!

Any idea what it could be?

What do you mean by overheating? Does it shut down?

Have you taken a look at Activity Monitor to see what process might hog up the CPU - don't forget to select "Show All Processes"?

Have you taken a look at the CPU temperature via iStat (or something similar)?
