Do we know if the screen on he 13 incher is the same quality as the old MB? or up to the standard of the 15" MBP?

The Macbook Pro line is getting near perfect, IF ONLY they gave us Blu Ray drives!

If I am not mistaken Apple just recently starting putting the same screen as the Air into the unibody MacBooks. If that is the case then I would assume that would be the same screen in the new 13" MacBook Pro's. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

here is what arn was reporting on the MBP upgrades

It should be on par with the 15" macbook pro screens, i.e., among the very best on the market today.

For $1100 or so, the value proposition is compelling.

Thin-check
Light-check
quality screen-check
great keyboard-check
backlit keyboard-check!
great ergonomics with touchpad - check
good speakeres -check
battery life --check

I think that the 13" macbook pro, the lowest model, is going to fly off the shelves and is going to put a dent in macbook air sales.
I think I might need to upgrade.

very best? did you miss all the professional reviews of the glossy screens where they called them unusable for pro editing.

i mean you are wrong until you look at the product id's...

I brought a 2.4 mb 3 weeks ago and sold it as I had a hunch a newer one was coming. It had one of teh newer displays which was fantastic compared to the older macbooks. The viewing angles were still not great but the blacks were black.

SO if these newer ones are better, I am not going to worry, however I will do a comparison with my 15" MBP when the new 13" arrives.
