I got to use my niece's 13" MBP last night and to my surprise, it felt smaller compared to my 13" MBA.

I know this is definitely just my imagination. In fact, I owned a 2009 uniboby MBP but it never felt substantially bigger.

Thanks (maybe) to the MBA's silver bezel, the MBA 13" seems like a bigger brother.

Hmmm...maybe this is why people think the 13" is not as portable as the 11". It could be just their imagination after all.

It's the extra resolution. It seems larger because it's clearer.

Had the same feeling about the iPhone 4 screen when I switched from the 3G, it seemed much bigger because everything was easier to read.

I dont think it's the resolution alone. I already noticed it the moment I opened it up, even before turning it on.
