Hey

As the topic says coconut battery reports that the battery in my base model 13" ntb MBP is manufactured 2016-01-15 and the MBP itself is manufactured 2016-10-24. I usually get an average battery time about 7-8 hours but thought it was pretty odd that the battery was 9 months old before the computer was assembled.

How old are your batteries?

Mine was fairly new, like September.

I wonder if someone else has a battery that is almost a year old?
They must have had pretty much figured out quite early if they swtarted production of batteries in January and launched the computer over 6 months later.

nearly the same here: 13" ntb MBP manufactured 2016-11-07. Battery from 2016-01-15.

I also have that battery manufacture date :D 2016-01-15. They must have had some old batteries lying around ;-)

They've probably been collecting parts for these notebooks for a year or so, so its not surprising.

Whats odd is I have the same build date 11/21 but my battery is 10/13

Edit: Wrong thread but those are my build dates and battery dates. Some one else posted with the year old battery and newer build. I noticed we had the same build date.
