Looking to buy a new Macbook Pro for school, I was originally going to go with the high end 13" model for $1,399 (w/ Student discount applied) but now I'm stuck between choosing between the 13-inch : 2.9 GHz and the 15-inch: 2.3 GHz($1699). I don't no much about processors but I'm going to guess the 15" has a better processor? Would you say the difference is noticeable? I will only be using laptop for writing papers, iPhone/iTunes, web, etc... I also noticed the higher end 13" comes with more RAM then the lower 15" non retina model

If the processor is a lot better then I most likely will choose between the 15" and the 15" retina(don't know if I have enough for this even with discount , $1,999.) would have to check out payment plan options.

Don't waste your money and go with 15" for writing papers. Any 13" will be a great fit for you.
