How is your 13 pro in regards to heat? Does it get warm to the touch on the back with moderate use- or cool as a cucumber?

I've had my 13 Pro for about a week now. I have background refresh turned off for everything. I have noticed it gets pretty warm at times while doing activities that keep the refresh rate maxed out consistently - at least that's the correlation I'm deducing. It's not bad, but definitely warm. It also doesn't always happen. Example - this morning I was navigating through various articles after a search in the Google app, so lots of reading, scrolling, etc. It got pretty warm in about 15 minutes of doing that. But other times, with similar activity, it's fine. ?‍♂️

Strange it would do that even with light use!
My 12 Mini does that, gets noticeably warm when I am simply browsing Reddit or news sites. I thought that was a flaw, or maybe just due to the small form factor so was hoping the 13 Pro I have on order would be better in that regard... sounds like this is just going to be how it is now with the high powered chips that are in these devices.

I haven’t noticed it, but then I don’t really stress my phone very much. I tend to finish each day with about 45% battery power remaining.

This happened to me today. I wasn’t even doing anything intensive. Just switching between a few social media apps with YouTube playing in the background for about 20 minutes and I noticed the screen dimmed. I took the phone out the case and the back was very warm. I didn’t touch it for a few minutes then it cooled down and went back to normal but still very strange and slightly concerning.
