These things worth getting or not? Anyone using one and what brand?

Something like this:

Since the back camera glass is covered in Sapphire, then it is mostly scratch-proof. Only thing that can scratch is that diamond ring of the wife, otherwise pretty much indestructible.
Well that cover will not save from shatter, so overall there is no sense in covering your camera.

I have no wife, lol

This looks similar to the one I had, removed, and then bought again.
The reason I bought a new one is because I've decided to use just a dbrand skin going forward, and I wanted something to protect the cameras since I won't have a case to do that. The reason I didn't re-use the old one is because I accidentally dropped it on its sticky side and a bunch of debris got stuck to it. (I don't think squeezing debris between the lens protector and the camera lens is a good idea.)
I liked it because it gave me an extra sense of security. Also, I could never keep that area between the lenses clean for some reason, so knowing that I didn't have to worry about it was worth it. The lens protector didn't have any negative effects on the quality of my pictures (since it's made of glass). However, one thing that's worth mentioning is that sometimes it takes two or three seconds longer to focus. Another thing worth mentioning is that for some reason, there appears to be a small gap between the lens protector and the lens. I don't know if the gap is actually there because I've tried sticking something in between and I couldn't slide anything in. Maybe it's just a reflection and my eyes are playing tricks on me, or maybe there really is a gap. I've read a few reviews of other brands and they've mentioned the same thing. One last thing I want to mention: it's almost like these were made to complement the camera opening of the Apple Leather Cases. It's an absolutely perfect fit. All of the other cases I've use in conjunction with the lens protector had a very, very slight gap on all four sides.

According to Jerryrigeverything, that famous guy that teardowns various tech on his channel, the lense glass barely registers as Sapphire. It is not pure sapphire. Which should not come as a surprice as Apple does not brag much about their lense glass material what I have seen so far.

Fast foward to 5.49min in the video for the camera glass sapphire test.
Edit: But the glass seems though enough to save from most micro scratches atleast. I had no visible scratches on my X for example after several years of usage.
Edit nr 2: I see now people have mentioned Jerry Riggs etc in other posts, so I'm sorry if my post is repetitive!
