Just got a late-2012 13" rMBP with 256 GB SSD. I'm happy to get it at $100 less at BestBuy, since Apple is not offering this configuration anymore...but basically the same as the new one with 256 GB but .01 GHz slower. My unit is perfect in every way...my first Apple purchase that I didn't have to bring back and exchange.
Anyway, tried calibrating the screen using the built-in Colorsync. After confirming my desired level, which happened to be slightly darker than the stock settings, the screen sort of flickers a couple of time and settles on a more darker setting. This is really weird. I tried several times with the same results, as if it just defaults to a one more darker setting all the time.
Could anyone confirm this? I would hate to know this is just mine doing this since I am really getting happy with my unit at this point.
