13 rMBP and display manufacturer

Hi all -

New 13" rMBP owner here, and would like to see whether I have Samsung or LG panel (and I promise not to start a thread about the results).

I tried this string in Terminal:

ioreg -lw0 | grep \"EDID\" | sed "/[^<]*</s///" | xxd -p -r | strings -6

but I get nothing when I enter it. Terminal just present a new prompt with nothing displayed.

Any words of wisdom?

Yea same here... I think it's a smart move from apple to hide this
