13" RMBP Semi Lag/Blur when scrolling connected to TBD

i just got the new 13" RMBP and i connect it to my 27in TBD, what i notice is that when I am scrolling on Safari back and forth with pages theres a semi lag/blur on the page, for about 1 second every time and then the screen is clear again, anyone else experience this? kinda annoying, didn't have this in the 2012 models or MBA, is it another Maverick issue?
