Just bought for 1562 at Amazon+134 NY tax. I have a 2011 11" 4/128 that I love, but want the screen. This seems like the cheapest way in. I travel a lot and had and sold a 13 air because it was too deep. Though this weighs more I like the proportions better. There was an air 13 8/256 refurb the other day that was tempting at 1449- glad I didn't bite as for an extra 113 I get a really different machine. I have learned to work with the limitations of the128g drive,
with usb3 and the sd slot I add flexibility.

Ouch, should have looked around. Frys electronics, $1549 no tax.

Frys deal

I would have but Frys is instore only, or do you know something I don't?

Check

After I read your first message I checked Frys again and saw the 256. Seems like the best deal going.

That's the good thing about this forum, there goes a happy MacRumor user with a better deal!
