Yes yes always the same questions i know.

Before the Keynote on June 8th, i was planning on visiting the apple store to exchange my UMB because it has stress cracks and they told me if they were expanding, they would exchange + i got dust and dead pixels. So i definitely needed to exchange the tired machine.

If i were to exchange my 13" UMB in 1-2-3 weeks, would they give me the same or would they give me a MBP 13" ? If i ask to get the MBP would that be too much ?

What are my options and i am willing to pay ~100-300 to upgrade.

Thanks and any comments, suggestions are welcome.

As they will definitely want to get rid of the old stock, you will absolutely get the same model back. I'd say there's no chance you'll get a Pro.

If they are gonna give you a new macbook, i dont think they will have a problem with you paying for an upgrade. I had the 2.0ghz unibody and when they were giving me a replacement, they let me pay the extra to upgrade to the 2.4 ghz. it might not be the same, but you can always ask.
