Looking to upgrade my development laptop. I have an external monitor so the 13 screen isn't as big of a deal. Really wondering if the SSD would be more useful than the extra CPU and GPU in the 15.
 
I'd say go with the SSD. If you're like me, where you need to be able to run lots of VMs to cross-test, and you absolutely hate it when your favorite IDE starts to page (unless you're a VIM or emacs user), then definitely go with the SSD. My 13" core2duo from 2009 still hums along to this day with a great SSD.
 
Would the extra cores of the 15 not help a VM more than the SSD?
