unfortunately I had to ask You for help! I already bought used iMac17" with broken screen (it's not a problem to me because I use 22" Hp LCD) but seller didn't tell any word about rocket I had in box. My HD Fan is getting terrible high speed - 5600 RPM which I couldn't fix.
I already reset SMC milions times, PRAM also. I instaled smcFanControl, iMac fanControl and HDD FanControl.
smc and hdd fan control show normal temp about 26-28 degrees (Celcius), only iMac FanControl shows something worse (Picture above) (-128.0)
I have iMac 5.2 Mid Version - it means that there is no temp. sensor on HDD in standard.
I hope You have any idea how can I fix it.
BTW. Will iMac run without this fan, Could I trash it?
