There are several iOS remote control apps (like Hippo Remote LITE) that allow the iPad to function as a remote keyboard and mouse for a Mac.

Do any of those apps have support code to correctly handle and pass through input from a BT keyboard to the Mac? That would allow me to use my BT keyboard directly with an iPad or with the Mac without having to first un-pair it from the iPad. I tried this with Hippo Remote LITE, but couldn't make it work.

Update: HippoRemote does do this functionality. I didn't know you had to hit the keyboard icon then the push-pin icon to have it run (and not disappear when you hit enter). Also, the developer says that apps have no way to detect if modifiers like Command or Control have been pressed on a BT kbd; that tends to lower the usefulness of a utility like this. Nevertheless, I think that this is an intriguing little app.
