130MB on 3G after we went to bed? What is it?

I got a notice today from AT&T that my wife has nearly exhausted her 200MB of data. We are not even 1 week into the billing cycle. Problem is, my wife is home-bound and only leaves the house once a week and while at home she uses Wifi. Upon further investigation I found that the 4S used 130MB of data on Monday night, long after we went to bed (12am). What is that? If that's a backup, why on 3G and not wifi? (as it clearly says it will only backup to iCloud if on wifi).

We are stumped as to what this usage could be. Additionally, last month she used a total of 19MB from her data plan.

I need some ideas on what this could be so we can either change a phone setting or something...

I don't know what that 130 MB is but you should be able to confirm if it is a backup by going to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup and then scrolling down to the very bottom where the last backup date/time is listed.
