Hi, in the last couple weeks I have gotten this error message at least 3 times: "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button until it turns off, then press the Power button again."

Most recently, I received the following Crash log (below, hopefully I pasted in enough information). Can anyone please tell me what it means? Thank you!
Rena

Mac OS X: How to log a kernel panic

You have to look for the backtrace section, to see, what process is causing the panic.

Sorry, I know nothing about this...which section is the backtrace section? Thank you!

Are you sure, that this is the kernel panic report, as it normally looks like this:

Well, I didn't realize that I need to copy the panic report to save it when I originally got it. I tried to retrieve it from the Crash Log, but it won't let me paste the whole thing in here. Is that the right information?

Well, I didn't realize that I need to copy the panic report to save it when I originally got it.

What Mac OS X version do you have?
Normally a kernel panic report can be found in Console (Applications / Utilities) like shown below.
2012_02_14_pA1_Console_kernelpanicreport.png

It can also be found here:
2012_02_14_pA2_kernelpanicreportlocation.png

I tried to retrieve it from the Crash Log, but it won't let me paste the whole thing in here. Is that the right information?
Then it is probably too long, but you can just copy the first three parts up until your System model name.

I'm using Snow Leopard. When I go to the Log for DiagnosticReports, all the files end in .crash not .panic. Is that why it doesn't look right? Does that message to restart definitely mean it's a kernel panic?

If it was this message you saw, then it is a kernel panic:

Maybe wait for the next kernel panic and make sure to copy the report, as you only seem to have a crash report from Word.
