1333 in 2.8 Quad

I know that the Quad takes 1066. I know that it will not see 1333.

I just bought a Quad. I know that I am going to upgrade to the Hex (I have already bought the Hex), so I bought 24 GB of 1333. Can I use that 1333 in my Quad (before I replace the Quad with the Hex)?

yes you can .. the ram will just run at 1066 until you put the hex in
