Bluetooth features

Hello, this is my first iPad, I have a question on the Bluetooth feature, my iPad found iMac on the Bluetooth and I was able to pair them together but I'm not sure what to use it for? What can I do between them? Please advise. Thank you.

Tether, if that service is activated. Other than that nothing.

This is my first iPad as well. I would imagine there must be accessories available "stylus, keyboards, cc scanners" etc that can connect using bt.

Read the first post again and you will see that the OP asked specifically about using Bluetooth between the iPad and a Mac. You are referring to using Bluetooth accessories with the iPad. Two completely different things.
