What is everyones favorite podcast? Mine is B97 Hot Hollywood Gossip, that Tyler guy is hilarious!

I'm really disappointed at no Love Line, with Dr. Drew and Adam Corolla.

Though not really a podcast (its radio show) they record it in LA or something and it goes everywhere. Seems perfect for podcasting.

I guess I don't have any favorites any more, because all you johnny-come-latelies are clogging up the servers :p ;)

CBC Radio 3 has started a podcast and it's still good. I didn't think I would care at all about podcasting but I find it to be a good background music choice for doing work, much better sound quality than my radio and all very nicely integrated.

I'm underwhelmed so far... perhaps if I find one that's of particular interest. Or a BBC radio one other than the news that I hear anyway in the morning.

I mean, I got my iPod so I could listen to my music without any DJs/other music/ads... so why do I now want to put all those irritations back onto the iPod?

I've been trying to download a bunch of different ones, but yeah the lack of NPR (maybe because they're avaliable as audiobooks...bleck..) or good music podcasts is getting me down.

Not to mention the fact I keep getting tons of wierd iTMS errors all over the place and can't seem to download quite a few of these probably because their servers are getting riddled with hits...LAME!

AFAIK, most Podcasts don't contain any ads - none of the ones I listen to anyway. Plus, most Podcasts have hosts, but not DJs. The majority of these seem to be in the style of talk radio. So if you like talk radio and find Podcasts on topics that interest you this should have some value. If you have no interest in talk radio shows or if you have no interests/hobbies then Podcasts probably won't be of much interest to you.

OT, here are my favorites:

Twit
Engadget
Science Friday

engadget
ipodlounge
the chris pirillo show
twit

the way itunes syncs these things with my photo is freakin' great.. i can have itunes dl the latest pod cast everyday.. and then it'll sync those specific programs to my 'pod the min i plug it into my ibook.. good stuff.. :p :)

spidey, try the dawn and drew show. it's frikkin' hilarious. i listen to it all the time. it's a bit perverse at times, but otherwise it's great!

aside from that, i like keith and the girl, new music weekly (itunes) and the vegan cooking school. i'm always looking for new podcasts to subscrible to.

Inside Mac Radio is my favorite. Don't know about Engadget, some of their podcasts sound like the host was speaking into a mic from across the room. Their audio quality varies wildly.

Coverville has great and awful coversongs, but it's always fun.

I hope Podcasters will start to inculde release date etc.
Some Podcasts has more info included, when you download them though Newsfire or a similar program. I also hope they will add chapters asap.

Fighting Talk is a brilliant BBC sports punditry program (with a lot of comedy.) Unfortunately it is on a summer break but you should all check it out when it comes back, probably in August when the new football (soccer for all you americans,) season starts.

Twit, GeekNewsCentral, MacCast, MyMac.com, Croncast - IMO much funnier than Dawn and Drew - or maybe I'm too old for DnD.
